East Barre, Vermont - The much-anticipated Traynor YCS50 50-Watt 1x12 combo is now
shipping. Announced earlier this year, the YCS50 is designed for the professional
player who demands maximum versatility, reliability and unmatched tone in a single
all-tube amplifier.

The Traynor YCS50 combo delivers a full two-channel configuration with independent
gain, and fully independent EQ's for each channel. Key to its versatility is an
innovative USA / Brit switch that actually relocates the tone stack relative to the
gain stages in the clean channel. This allows the Custom Special 50's EQ section to
respond with either an 'American' or 'British' flavor, delivering a wide tone pallet
reminiscent of those great tones emanating from either side of the Atlantic.

An Expander circuit delivers an almost acoustic-like tone for the rhythm channel
while Modern and Scoop switches offer the player a choice of 'vintage' tube drive or
a more aggressive 'scooped' guitar tone on the lead channel.

The Traynor YCS50's selectable output stage is switchable between 50-watt Class-AB
mode for stage and a 15-watt Class-A mode that's ideal for the studio. A
footswitchable boost with independent level control ensuring exactly the right
amount of lead boost is always at hand.

Designed with the working musician in mind, the YCS50 1x12 combo is built using a
solid plywood cabinet construction, aluminum chassis, a CelestionT Vintage30 speaker
and an AccutronicsT spring reverb.
